Shredded Fillo Pastry (Kataifi)

Our thin shredded fillo dough is stuffed with freshly grounded walnuts, rolled and topped with sweet melted butter.    Baked off and covered with our homemade syrup then covered for a minimum of 24 hours as the product absorbs the syrup.    The final result is a sweet tasty crunch on top with a nice soft bottom and interior.    A pastry when made correctly is one of the most popular on the islands.   4 per tray.
