(Special introductory price.   No promotional code needed.)The most common Greek cookie which consists of flour, vegetable shortening (to give it the outside crisp, sweet butter, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, baking powder, and a touch of salt that activates all the ingredients.   We put an egg wash on top of the cookie prior to baking.   Great for dunking, on the run snack, platters for get togethers, or on the beach as one long time customer sent us a picture of.   These can easily be reheated in the oven or microwave to give it the out of the oven taste with a softer texture.    Eat them slowly and your taste buds will be getting tastes of the sweetness followed by the butter then the vanilla as time passes.    When reheating use caution as the interior will be hotter than the exterior of the cookie.   20-21 per pound count.
