A pure butter cookie consisting of Flour, Butter, sugar, baking powder, eggs, vanilla and almonds in the mix. After mixing we roll out our dough and go over the top with the back of a fork just like Yia Yia, (grandma), used to do it. We bake it until the bottom is slightly golden brown and remove it from the oven as it finishes cooking in the hot baking pan. Once cooled down, we pile loads of powdered sugar on top. The final result is a combination of a light, sweet, buttery meltdown in your mouth. Have your frappe, (Greek iced coffee), which is sold in our grocery list made and ready to go. Yia Yia and the kids are always making a batch together to take home. We advise eating the cookies over a plate as the powder sugar will be falling off as it is applied heavily. Approximately 15 per pound.
