Baklava

Food that is baked in tradition. This baklava recipe has been in the Liberty Greek Pastry family for generations. A must try with every order!  The king of Greek pastries    
     Our filo dough is layered between freshly grounded walnuts, topped with melted sweet butter and baked to a crispy golden brown. Homemade syrup with fresh lemon, cinnamon sticks and clove is then poured on top. The baklava sits overnight until the pastry has absorbed all the syrup it can. Packed in an airtight container, sealed and shrink wrapped exceeding FDA guidelines as it is shipped nationwide. A minimum of one pound per six piece tray.
